Knots – Vertical rope

In a slow and spiraling accent, the rope begins to restrain the performer until she is entwined in a complicated sculptural knot. In the blink of an eye, she has magically freed herself. (Or has the rope released her?) In this poetic metaphor of freed and control, a dramatic story of ecstasy and torture unfolds. A continuous eb and flow of knotting and unknotting, beautiful, ephemeral rope sculptures are created and disappear.  A dynamic ending leaves you wondering what freedom is.
